Our Farm

We are My Microgreens Farm, your local microgreens farmer. Our family farm is a small “direct to community” farm that offers FREE HOME DELIVERY  in the Clear Lake City area.

We Have One Goal

To ProvideThe Highest Quality
Microgreens to our Customers

What makes the microgreens from My Microgreens Farm so special? Well, for one, the greens are delivered as live plants, something like a visually stunning miniature forest, that you can harvest from as you please. As you taste your way through the five varieties in your sample subscription box, you’ll find that each antioxidant-packed green has a distinct flavor profile that makes it easy to work into a variety of dishes and taste combinations. The crunchy pea shoots are perfect for sautéing and stir frying; the spicy radish, earthy broccoli and kale seedlings add vibrancy to any salad mix; and the nuttiness of the sunflower is perfect for pesto. Secondly, even though microgreens have been traditionally used as high-end restaurant garnishes, it doesn’t make them prohibitively expensive: The Sample Subscription Box, with five types of microgreens, costs only $24.99, can last seven to 10 days with proper watering, and is delivered free to your home or office within our growing delivery area.

Our Discovery

While performing our research on microgreens, we discovered that not only were they delicious to the taste and appealing to the eye, but they also provide many health benefits that are 4 to 40 times that of their full grown counterparts.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the freshest microgreens available. We know that “Healthier Greens Make a Healthier You,” so we aim to provide microgreens that are grown in a controlled environment, with no pesticides, no soil (therefore no soil-borne pathogens), just pure, filtered water and a hydroponic growing medium made from biodegradable wood fibers.

Grown With Love on Our Family Farm

At My Microgreens Farm we don’t grow in acres. We grow in square feet.

When I was a child, my parents always had a garden. It was almost 3,000 square feet, which is about 0.07 acre. I was given a fraction of that space to grow on my own. It was no more than two square feet, barely large enough to grow a couple of Chrysanthemums, a few Sweet Williams, and a strawberry plant or two. It was a small garden, but it grew big ideas!

My small garden manifested itself into the big idea of a farm, where I wouldn’t have to get my hands dirty. I wouldn’t have to wait for the weather to turn or the soil to dry. I wouldn’t have to till the fields or add amendments or compost to the soil. Wouldn’t have to build the beds, weed or apply pesticides. Instead, I would grow in a controlled environment, where I could manipulate the temperature to a balmy 75°F and the humidity to under 50%.

There would be a constant circulation of air and the water would be clean and pure. I could grow 365 days of the year and I wouldn’t have to worry about the seasons changing. I would tend to the crops just a few hours each day and have delicious and nutritious plants ready for consumption in 7 to 14 days for delivery to homes, offices, farmers markets, restaurants, supermarkets, health food stores, and juice bars.

I would be able to accomplish all of this in less than 800 square feet, and I would be able to provide fresh produce to the whole community, and not just my immediate family.

I love this big dream that’s coming to fruition, and growing microgreens, with love, on our family farm!!
